89-year-old actor Aubrey Morris, who acted in movies such as A Clockwork Orange, The Wicker Man, Lisztomania, and Love and Death died Wednesday at Barlow Respiratory Hospital.
Morris is best known for his role in Stanley Kubrik’s 1971 film A Clockwork Orange, where he played probation officer P.R. Deltoid.
He also appeared in The Avengers, Murder, and, most recently, the television show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Morris was born in 1926 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and debuted on stage in The Winter’s Tale at London’s Regent’s Park in 1944.
